What is Learning Disability Week?
Learning Disability Week is all about making sure the world hears what life is like if you, or someone you know, has a learning disability.
What is the topic for Learning Disability Week 2025?
The theme for Learning Disability Week 2025 is “Do you see me?“
It is all about being seen, heard and valued – a positive message that has been created by people with a learning disability to build a movement of change.
How to get involved
We asked our service users to join us in creating ‘Do you see me?” bunting which is displayed within our service user room at Head Office. Bunting has been decorated with words and pictures from those with lived experience of learning disabilities and this week means to them.
We also conducted a short interview with John, our training champion
